Egg Hunts, Birthdays and Earth Hour

Today we left MamMaw on her own so Lil' Orchid could attend some local egg hunts and her Cousin's birthday. The first egg hunt we attend Lil'Orchid picked a prize egg, so she was super excited to get a bunny bowling set. We then headed over to FH's Egg hunt, which has become an annual tradition since Lil' Orchid's first Easter at home. There is always a huge crowd there (at least 100+ kids per age group). MomMom didn't get too many pictures because she was trying to make sure Lil' Orchid didn't get trampled. Lil' Orchid was actually more excited about seeing the Easter Bunny again then hunting eggs there. Our next stop was Toys R Us for their Easter event, which has all become an annual tradition. We walked around the store and collected the stickers and at the end we got a nice treat bag. Our finally stop was Rotary Club egg hunt, after the egg hunt was finished, they gave all the kids prize bags and everyone got a cookie and juice box. Lil' Orchid saved her cookie and brought it home to MamMaw. We then drove to the next county so we could attend Cousin Kiwi's 3rd Birthday. Lil' Orchid was so excited to get to see her family and she also introduced everyone to the classpet, Rainbow Star. Lil' Orchid loved getting to share her cake and ice cream with Rainbow Star and she was even more excited when Rainbow Star got a Birthday hat. We ended our day by celebrating Earth Hour. At 830pm, we turned off our lights. Because of MamMaw's needing light to take her medicine, we didn't keep them off for the full hour but we did our best.
