Springtime Showers...

Okay, its the last day of April...now bring on the May Flowers!

While traveling in the East we encountered the majority of people wearing masks for the pollution, car exhaust & allergies.

I making a few to sell..although theirs were flat

I added a small tuck at the nose for easier breathing.

I don't claim they will save you from germs

but they do remind you not to touch your face and to wash your hands.

They are reversible and can be washed.

Since the weather guy is predicting more, yes, MORE RAIN for the next 6 days, I was able to get ALL 3 acres mowed before night fall.

Lil Orchid and her Mom Mom had fun playing baseball with her new yard sale find.

Still need to unload the Van,

because we came in so late.
Got up this morning

because they predicted a week's worth of rain..BLAH!

So I mowed about half of the 3 acres before the sprinkles became a downpore.

No Sewing Today.

But Please enjoy looking a few more large Totes I appliqued....

I'll try to get them added to the store soon.

STL Earth Day

It's the big day......
Had to leave extra early (before 6am) because even though we drove and spent several hours there last night to set up a majority of the tent and tables, racks etc. We ended up taking it all down and securing it. Are you thinking the worst ??? WHY ???
There was no Thunderstorms, nah...
there was no freezing temperatures and snow, nah...
like the last Craft Show...
We has WIND, GUSTS of WIND
After we fought off unsecured tumbling tents from surrounding vendors. We took ours down because the last one pushed hard enough it bent some of the metal, so instead of having a tent leg or whatever damage it overnight, we took it down.
Positive Note: We are getting good at putting Up and Down this Tent.

So the weather was hot, it's okay we took plenty of water.
But my daughter and I are in need of a good masseuse for our shoulders.
We spent the entire time taking turns braces the tent above our heads and the racks from blowing over. Lil Orchid was of course a little Angel. Some friends stopped by (thanks Christie & Brian) then walked Lil Orchid over to the Pet section and watched the Box Turtles and Dogs.
The people were friendly and there to enjoy a great day outside and the festivities. Met some new clients and some new contacts.
It was the 20th Anniversary
for the ST Louis Earth Day Celebration.
NOTE: I took both my children to the first one!! Just look how young they are :)

Tomorrow's Set up..& Soccer

Went to a new Doctor (Thurs), spent a little over 3 hours there

....saw the Doctor the last 12 minutes.

My head is spinning with everything that is going on...
Tomorrow is Soccer 9:30am...
then Church Luncheon...
Set Up in ST Louis MO for Earth Day Festival 4pm.

This morning was Lil Orchids physical therapy 8:30am
after I dropped them off I ran to unload the van
for the big consignment kid's resale (Sat,Sun)
No time to go back home
so Lil Orchid and I drove with my daughter for a job interview in STL,
came home and reloaded the van with tent, racks
and everything needed for the Earth Day show.

Boo Boo Monsters..

Remember those cleverly folded wash clothes called boo boo bunnies, where you slide the ice cube in a hole...cute I had one for my daughter over 30 yrs ago.

I sat down one night and decided I would design my own Boo Boo Ice Cube Holder.

So here they are The Original Boo Boo Monster. Pattern, Design all my idea!

Except my Boo Boo Monster has a little pocket on the back so the ice cube doesn't melt and fall on the floor . They are made of a soft flannel for tender scraps and swollen bumps on the head.

Great for the little tough guy and also the big tough guy. Designs for little girls too!!

Carry them in your bag for that un expected fall, parks, shopping, Now you won't have to put ice from your drink in a paper napkin.

They are all approx. 7 inches tall --

and I gave each of them a band-aide

so your little one isn't alone in their pain.

I reinforce the straps, ties and bottom corners...

I added the ties, unlike other totes so you can roll your tote up and tie them for convience and storage. Just tuck them away in your purse or car and they are ready, when you are!!

Easter Blessings to All...

Easter, Spring, a sign of New Beginnings
So I wish all every thing good in their life...

We drove to my son's for Easter and had a great visit,
enjoyed the food and egg hunt on Campus with Lil Orchid.
Time with my family was Wonderful!

Day before Easter...

Went to few more Egg Hunts and then drove to my son's. Lil Orchid opened her eggs, then later we dyed eggs together.

What can I say...

I Love Baseball & the STL Cardinals.

Why, because my son & daughter made me a fan. A Big Fan. So it is a family thing that we enjoy together...and this includes Lil Orchid!

It amazes me that this little one will sit on the couch and watch a Cardinal Game.

It amazes me that this little one will sit in a stadium and watch a Cardinal Game. She sang "Take me out to the ball game while Uncle Nathan held her in his arms. And was thrilled when Uncle Nathan took her to get to see Fred Bird! During the winter if a football game came on she would ask "Where's the Baseball?"

Anyway the Party for Opening Day was a Blast! Cold, YES, Very Cold, YES, Snowing YES!!!!

We were all layered to stay warm, Lil Orchid had 5 layers on and stayed toasty warm and happy.
