Princess B turns 4...

Take your Choice: Windy, Rainy, Chilly!
Well, my decision is made! Yes, the weather is not favorable (thunderstorms and gusting winds) I'm not worried about the rain - we have endured that before but the winds is something I cannot afford....meaning: cannot afford replacing a tent...meaning : cannot afford to replace our inventory (we worked to hard)! Thing is my daughter would have had to endure the unloading and set up by herself in this unforgiveable weather....So it's Not really a choice...I have been miserable this last week, not healed since surgery and so painful I'm not getting but a few hours of sleep.
So sorry We won't be at the Earth Day Celebration
even though it's going on Rain or (Rain).

Wicked Weather!!!
Today, we were supposed to set up in the park for Earth Day Celebration....we tossed and turned then finally decided that we would rather not chance setting up the tent with an unsure prediction regarding the weather..... Tornados - Hail - Strong Wings - Thunderstorms..YUCK!
Got an email from the committee telling people that set up today, that their tents were possibly detroyed today and don't be surprised when they show up tomorrow.
Weather man says light showers but possible 30-40 wind gusts ...will debate if it's worth going tomorrow.

Sundays are for Blessings!
Trying to fit a weekend into a day.... my son drove in and we got to spend 1/2 a day with him. Lil Orchid was happy to see her Uncle (he was at that L-o-o-o-o-o-o-n-n-n-n-g-g-g--g Cardinal game on Saturday, 6 hrs 53 minutes) so it was late and we were asleep when he came home.

A Delightful Surprise !!
Today when the mail was delivered it brought a BIG Surprise from some very, very Special Friends....Thank You, Jonni, John, Sofia & Samantha!
Lil Orchid received a box filled with some Birthday & Easter Goodies.
She was so EXCITED and LOVED IT ALL!!!
Just check out the face..it doesn't lie.
On the way home....
What started as a beautiful sunny day to travel....turned into a scary, thunderstorm with hail and tornado warnings on the highway of h#@! We not only got an experience we wouldn't want to redo, but we added a few dings from the giant hailstones.
Lil Orchid did really well considering we had to pull over with the rest of the highway traffic due to heavy rain and was being pelted and rocked by the winds.

Finding Eggs High and Low..
We planned ahead to make sure Uncle Nathan & Lil Orchid got to celebrate some egg hunts together. Dressed in our almost Easter best, the hunt begins....first stop, Nathan held the bag as Lil Orchid filled it with 51 eggs...next park Lil Orchid scooped up 27 eggs. What a great day.
As for myself they found a bench or propped me up against a tree during the festivities and then gave me curb service for the ride back.
