Blood Drive

Today we did running...still not totally immersed in sewing yet.

But wanted to Give Blood in town and get my son another Cardinal T-Shirt.

Missed the vein-needed two arms-and added ice packs for the bruising...

check out the hole and then the line where the needle went...

As the day went on I received alot of empathy

Family is heading home...

We all enjoyed my brothers wedding, visiting with family..

but it is time for everyone to hit the road.....back to S. MO and the rest to TN.

My other brother (5 yrs younger) got to stay a little longer & visit...

it was Great! Lil Orchid had a lot of FUN!

Here comes the Groom....

Not much in my plans to sew this weekend...

my youngest brother is getting married today, they are combining their families and will have five (almost teenagers) between them(12 thru 16 yrs)LOL. This is amazing because it is bringing all my siblings together at one time...last time 2001.

Lil Orchid has been obsessed with getting married , this will be her first wedding, she will carry anything including a stick and parade around humming "here comes the bride". She told us that she is getting married...we told her not til she is out of school...her reply "I am out of school " (summer break), so we explain she has to go to school as long as Uncle Nathan (grad school).

So far she says okay-

so glad time

is not so clear to her now.

My brother E asked if I would photograph his wedding for him......

Busy Weekend...

Lil Orchids baseball game was a rain out...storms early morn - could of been heat warning!

My son came into town for a friends wedding festivities - Lil Orchid couldn't fiure out why she couldn't go? On Sunday, Lil Orchid gave a gift to her God Father, Uncle Nathan, then he was off on the road driving back to Ohio.

We love the Home runs but the Fireworks are a bit loud...and then to be robbed of the hit, doesn't make Lil Orchid too happy, she can't even enjoy her pretzel LOL Don't ya just LOVE her Fred bird Bows that MomMom made ;)

But there's one guy who can cheer her up...

the unofficial holidays today are...Go Fly A Kite and Electricity Day - Hey Ben F. I would have joined you since we had a big electrical storm this afternoon LOL.

A Knights Tale...

We have been busy working on some unique tutu's for the little princesses out there.

But didn't want to forget the boys in our lives...

so we designed some medieval tunics and head gear for those little dragon fighters and prince charmings.

What a beautiful day! The sky is blue and by the wind mill in theback yard the wind is calm. What a great day to get silly!!

YeYe & GreatGreat are heading back to S. MO this morning. It has been a sad visit, but a nice visit. Don't you just love lilies, Tiger & Asian adorn our yard, reminding us the world is a beautiful place.

Wednsday Woes

We went to the funeral home yet again. Our Dear Cousin, Chuck lost his battle with Cancer on Saturday, so our heart again is filled with loss.

But memories bring the smile to our faces....he had one of the biggest hearts and a smile that could light up a room. Chuck was especially special to us because he drove my mom (Great Great) to the airport and escorted us all home when we arrived from Vietnam with our Sweet Lil Orchid!
